Why Propose a Project?

Navigo Nepal started with a simple observation: students in Nepal are not getting the exposure and guidance they need to navigate their futures. Our founder saw this gap and decided to do something about it. Today, we invite you to do the same. If you have identified a need in your school, community, or district — whether it is career counseling, environmental education, leadership training, or something entirely new — we want to hear from you.

We believe the best ideas often come from the people closest to the problem. A student in a rural school knows better than anyone what their peers need. A teacher in a government school understands the gaps in their system. A young professional in a remote district sees the challenges their community faces every day. By proposing a project, you are not just sharing an idea — you are taking the first step toward creating real change. Navigo Nepal will provide the support, resources, and expertise to help you bring that idea to life.

What We Support

We welcome proposals in any area that benefits students and communities. Our focus areas include career guidance, leadership development, environmental education, STEM exposure, financial literacy, mental health awareness, and digital skills training. However, we are not limited to these areas. If your project aligns with our mission of empowering students and bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world skills, we encourage you to submit it. We have successfully supported projects ranging from the "What's Next?" career counseling campaign to environmental awareness rallies and the "Connect Tech to Veda" initiative.

How to Write Your Proposal

A strong proposal clearly defines the problem, your solution, and the impact you hope to create.

1. Define the Problem

Start by clearly describing the problem or gap you have identified. Who is affected? Where is this problem most prominent? What evidence do you have that this is a real need? Be specific — instead of saying "students lack career guidance," describe the exact situation: how many students, in which school or district, and what specific challenges they face.

2. Propose Your Solution

Describe what you want to do and how you plan to do it. What activities will your project involve? Will it be a workshop, a series of sessions, a campaign, or an ongoing program? How long will it run? Who will deliver it? Be as detailed as possible about the format, content, and delivery method. If you have ideas for specific activities, games, or materials, include them.

3. Identify Your Target Audience

Who will benefit from your project? Specify the age group, number of participants, school or community, and district. Understanding your audience helps Navigo Nepal tailor support and allocate resources effectively.

4. Describe the Expected Impact

What outcomes do you expect from your project? How will students benefit? How will you measure success? Think about both short-term outcomes (students gaining new knowledge or skills) and long-term impact (changes in behavior, attitudes, or community practices).

5. Timeline and Resources

Provide a rough timeline for your project and list any resources you might need. Navigo Nepal will work with you to refine the plan and provide additional support where needed. Do not worry if you cannot answer everything — the proposal is a starting point for a conversation, not a final plan.

Submit Your Proposal

Once your proposal is ready, send it to us at navigonepal@gmail.com with the subject line "Project Proposal: [Your Project Name]". Our team will review your submission within two weeks and get back to you with feedback or an invitation to discuss your idea further. We review every proposal seriously and are always excited to hear fresh ideas from the community.

After reviewing your proposal, we may invite you for a conversation to discuss the details, refine the plan, and explore how Navigo Nepal can best support your vision. Successful proposals will be developed into full projects with dedicated volunteer teams, content support, and school coordination. Together, we can turn your idea into an initiative that transforms the lives of students in your community.
